Bass Pro Shops

Inside a massive pyramid along the banks of the Mississippi River, sits a Bass Pro Shops that has become one of the most dynamic, immersive retail experiences in the country. Built in 1991, originally as a 20,000+ seat arena, this 32-story steel and glass structure is now the home to retail stores, a hotel, restaurants, a bowling alley, an archery range, a laser arcade and an
observation deck that sits at its apex. Inside The Pyramid, which is the 10th tallest pyramid in the world, visitors can also explore an immersive cypress swamp with nearly 600,000 gallons of water features and soaring 100-foot-tall trees. Considering all there is to experience, it’s no wonder this megastore has become a must-see destination for both families and outdoor enthusiasts.

A&ES is proud to have collaborated with the Bass Pro Shops Team, from concept through fabrication and installation, on this world-class endeavor. A&ES fabricated many scenic elements in this landmark site including: 3D store signage with specialty lighting, wayfinding graphics, custom metal and neon signage, scenic aging and distressing, as well as over 280 suspended replica cast mallards ducks in flight.
